This is one of review from Emily Elizabeth about them. This is my thrift store of choice in the area - and I have been to a bunch! I love their Wednesday special. They price their clothes very fairly (even when they have tags on them!!) - Lots of name brands. The plus size section always seems small but I always find 4-5 new pieces for my closet with names like Lane Bryant and Torrid. The men's clothes are crazy good brand names as well - I have found lots of Ralph Lauren, Brooks Brothers, and Tommy Bahama. Highly recommend to all my friends and family (that aren't my size!! ;) ) - Great staff too!
25% off everything on Wednesday. Saved about $6,000, purchased the entire inventory
top 5 of fave thrifts in hampton roads. They keep everything well organized and the furniture is not bad. Prices are pretty reasonable, especially when they run their specials. The store is mostly clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.
I recommend anyone donating goods to not call the Salvation Army on Virginia Beach Blvd. I called to cancel a pickup for furniture the day before it was scheduled and they showed up at the house anyways. When I informed them that a call had been placed to cancel the pickup; they were polite at my door, said 'god bless', but then one of the men spat on my car as they were leaving.
I love the rehabilitation center. I was addicted to alcohol for 23 years. The center has brought me closer to God. I now can live my life clean and sober . I have learned how to live 24 hours at a time.i have learned that in recovery you have to change the mind, body, and soul. This 6 month program has been a true blessing to me and I am forever grateful.you can stay an extra 6 months to get a new job and find a place to live. I tried everything before to get my life right but I couldn't do it, so I gave it to my higher power Jesus Christ and he saved me. Thank you Lord for carrying me when I could not help myself.thank you Lord for the wisdom and strength to follow thru on my road to recovery.
