Footprints has honestly saved my life and changed it forever. 6 months ago I had to go to rehab, because I lost everything and hit a new low. Towards the end of my stay at rehab I started to worry...where was I going to go? I lost my job, my house, everything. There was no place to turn, and very little hope for staying sober in the future. I knew I couldn't go back and had to find a new life in a new city. I found out about footprints by seeing the logo on a notepad, and thought about it, I had never been sober and have never lived in a halfway house. Now I am so glad I made the decision to go to footprints, the owner and managers really helped me with the resources I needed to get back on my feet, and start over. The accountability is helpful to my recovery and everyone is understanding of the different client's situations, as everyone is similar in our problems but unique in personality and spirit. I never thought I could stay sober, and was ready for an early death after suffering a few more years. Now I not only have hope for the future but am living a better life every single day, and truly believe we can all make it if we really want it. I feel blessed that I have a place to stay and have made many positive connections that I will keep for a lifetime. Footprints helped me discover the structure I needed after so many failed attempts to stay clean I was convinced I'm too far gone, being sober is too painful, and considered myself a terminal junkie. Mitchell Cobb has been by far the biggest influence in lending a helping hand to pull me out of hell. He's the only person I know of that used like I did that got and has stayed clean. Mitch and everyone at footprints went above and beyond to work with me. At every inpatient rehab I was simply a policy number to the facility that milked my insurance provider with no care if I was being helped or not. Footprints is the only program I feel was truly sincere about wanting to help me find my life.

Footprints has offered my son a safe place to live while he navigates his sobriety journey. Mitchell has done an excellent job of recognizing red flags residents exhibit and often helps them seek addition services and treatment when necessary. My son considers his roommates family and loves the support the Footprints community offers.
