Cenikor Corpus Christi has a 3.7 rating on our website, based on 59+ reviews from individuals who have received treatment at Cenikor Corpus Christi. This is one of review from Stephanie Brown about them. Took a family member here and was discussed by how filthy this place is. I only saw the entrance and the reception area. I can't imagine how nasty the rest of it is. My family member called the next day to come get him. He sobered up enough to realize how filthy this place is. I tried calling them for over an hour before anyone would answer. The person that finally answered sounded more like a patient than an employee. They would not tell if he was still there or not. Even though my name is on his paperwork for emergency contact and release of information. Very rude and unprofessional. I would not trust this place to take care of my dog.
HORRIBLE communication with these people & that's only if you can get them to answer the phone! Supposed counselor, MS SOLEIL sent my son packing, 6 hours from home WITHOUT food, water, money, transportation, his SUBOXONE or even a bus token! (I spoke with her so she was 100% aware of his circumstances) She DID NOT provide the counseling required! She is VERY condescending, unprofessional and rude. This woman has caused more harm than good to my son in his time of need and I will stop at nothing until she is exposed to the proper authorities!!! I wish more people would report these types of abuse because I know my son is not the only victim! He ran into TEN residents at the greyhound station that had been kicked out that same day for various reasons. A quick google search will reveal Cenikors illegal practices, lack of responsibility and FRAUD! I wish I had done my research sooner
I am so disappointed in this location it is dirty very unprofessional I would not recommend this place to anyone...a place of hope and sobriety was just another let down
I was told that I was able to talk to my husband's counselor whenever I needed to. They have yet to respond after several voicemails. At the time of caring for my 5 month old son, the facility would not tell me if my husband was there or not. I don't care if his consent was not signed, for my safety and for my son's safety, a piece of paper shouldn't inhibit a simple yes or no! I wouldn't have asked further questions past that. If you are going to have a family member use this facility, do yourself a favor, and look for services elsewhere. And just an FYI, if the patient has children, they will not allow the patient to see them.
The women at the counter was rude for no reason. She has a bad attitude, we are all coming into this facility for abuse & addiction. It is hard enough asking for help. I am not local so my GPS had me going to the wrong location for 30 minutes.. she wasn't employed there anymore when I returned.
