My spouse has been a patient here and has been clean for over 8 months & has yet to make any progress within the program for take homes because about 1 out of every 6 drug screens produces a false positive. She hasn’t been able to speak to a counselor in months bc they’re never available. Nobody cares. And they have a clear issue at the drug testing lab they use where it does not produce adequate results. How can anyone make progress here under those conditions?

Evidently this facility has an issue with the urine tests. Evidently the chain of custody when you are giving a urine sample for testing is non existent. They have people that is clean coming up supposedly positive but they do not find this information out until they come in for their medication. Not sure if they are mixing up the names or DOB or last 4 SSN, but they need to understand it is some people out here doing the right thing and following the program correctly. If they make a mistake, own up to it instead of making the patient think no one believes them. That attitude "oh everybody is dirty" is foolish and wrong. No call from their counselor or anything. They make it easy for another person to grab your urine and possibly swap out. I understand it is early in morning but if you are not going to do your job correctly then quit. The attitudes of the staff is very insulting. I understand people are addicts but that is no reason to treat them and talk to them like trash. How are you helping their sobriety treating them that way. Whomever is running this facility needs to regroup and retrain their employees because the next step is reporting them to the State because what goes on in there is ridiculous...I have a family member and individuals I know that go there.

BHG on Princess Anne is doing a great job!! Their facility is under going new construction now, but looks like the new facility will be great!!! They are always clean, they’re professional and courteous, not quick to throw you out, understanding and compassionate. I’ve been here almost a year and not to sound cliche, but methadone treatment has saved my life!! To have no panic in the morning time and know I can get through the day okay, is a freedom I’m so grateful for!! I’m also a long term pain patient and they are understanding and I feel my pain is managed well with the treatment. Thank you to all the staff at BHG that have always been more than helpful!! Update; A year later, they are about to make me quit after 2yrs of progress!! Still not at a dose that works for me. Now, they want me to see a counselor every time I come. The dealer is easier. Get it together BHG BHG has got it together now. They’re good. It’s a good clinic. Love Deneasha, Paula, Paris and Mr Givens!!! Great team on board currently!! July, 2023 Thanks to the needle exchange program as well!! A lifesaver. Literally.

This place needs to be shut down. There is literally no support for clients. My family member has had nothing but issues with them. Their counselor is never available to talk or not within the hours they are there for meds. My family member works and has a family to support but they can never accommodate to people who work and have jobs. There is no programs implemented for them to help the come off the methadone even when they are expressing and asking to titer down. There needs to be support as they try and come off this. They are about the money and not helping them come off. They need to be reported to liscensing

This place is really made a serious turn around they get you in there and out of there as fast as possible the staff has become more friendlier and everything goes smooth every morning 10 to 15 minute wait at the very very max thank you BHG for saving my life .. As far as the staff , the place would not run as smoothly if it wasn’t for PAULA and the females at the front desk . My counselor Paulette is very concerning and caring and does whatever she can do to help you.. Dr. kool is very caring and understanding and listens to you and really helps . Thank for reading and try it out it saves lives , it did mine .. I am 8 year patient …So I kinda have a clue about what I am talking about …
